Applying a Theme

FrontPage comes with several themes, which you can use to help give your Web site an attractive, consistent appearance across all your pages.

1. Close all your pages but remain in Page view. From the Format menu, select Theme... to bring up the Themes window.
    
   
    
2. You'll see a list of several theme options. Browse through them to give yourself an idea of what they look like, and highlight one that you feel "fits" your site.
    
3. For purposes of this workshop, we'll select the Clear Day theme. Make sure that the Background picture box is checked and that the Active graphics box is not checked, and then click OK. FrontPage will take a moment or two to apply your selected theme to all the pages in your web.
    
4. Now open one of your pages. Note that the new theme's background image has been added and your text's appearance has been altered to now display in the theme's default font.
