Adding an Image
Let's add an email image on our
"Contact Me" page.
- Open the "Contact Me"
page if it's not already open, and click on the Insert Picture
From File icon (see below) to bring up the Picture window.

- If the image was already used
in our web, it would be in our "images" folder and would appear in
the list here. Because we haven't used the image yet, we'll get the image
from another location. Click the Select a file on your computer...
button in the lower right of the Picture window (it has an icon
depicting a folder and magnifying glass) to display the Select File
window.

- For purposes of this workshop,
a file named email.gif has been saved to
your Desktop. This is the image we will use. If the Look in box in
your Select File window does not read "Desktop", click on
the Up One Level button a few times until it displays
"Desktop". Double-click on the filename (email.gif)
and FrontPage will insert it into your page.

- Let's alter the placement of
our image, so that it appears on the right side of our page. Right-click on the image and
select Picture Properties ... from the Shortcut Menu. (Alternatively, you can click on
the image and hit ALT-Enter, OR click on the image and select Format|Properties
... from the standard toolbar menu, to also arrive at Picture
Properties.)
- Click on the Appearance
tab, select Right from the Alignment box, and click OK.
- FrontPage repositions the
image, so that it now appears at the right hand side of the page.
