Adding Hyperlinks
Now let's add some hyperlinks.
Hyperlinks are the clickable images or bits of text that connect you to another
Web page.
- Open your "Contact
Me" page, if it's not already open, and highlight the word
"programs".

Let's add a hyperlink so that the word "programs" takes the
visitor to your "Programs" page.
- With the word
"programs" still highlighted, click on the Hyperlink button
in the Standard Toolbar. (It has an icon resembling a globe with two chain links.)
This will bring up the Create Hyperlink window.

Click on the file "programs.htm" and click OK.
- FrontPage now displays the word
"programs" as a clickable hyperlink. To verify this, click on the Preview
view tab, and click on "programs". It should then take you to your
"Programs" page.
- You can also add a hyperlink
that sends an e-mail message. Using the same method as above, highlight the
phrase "contact me" and click on the Hyperlink button.
- When the Create Hyperlink window appears, click on the Make a
hyperlink that sends e-mail button. (It has an icon of an envelope.)

Type in your e-mail address and click OK.
- FrontPage now displays the
words "contact me" as a clickable hyperlink that will open a new
e-mail message in the visitor's default e-mail program.
