Colors


Check which text and background color combination might serve the purposes of your content best. When deciding to use color in your text, beware of combinations which can "strain" the eyes (such as yellow and red) and beware of an "overuse" of color. A little color may enhance your site greatly; too much might do vice versa and even shock. Experiment with color combinations and test which is best for your site.

Below are examples of 16 different font colors used on 7 different background colors:

Font colors can be changed by highlighting the text and selecting the desired color from the Font Color button, usually located at the right end of the Formatting Toolbar.

Background colors can be changed by right-clicking in an open area of your page, and selecting Page Properties... from the Shortcut Menu. Click on the Background tab, then select the desired color from the Background drop-down box in the Colors section. Click OK to close the window(s) and return to your page.
